Metal Frame
Hi y'all,
Today I had so much fun. I made this frame from all of the little scraps of metal I kept in a box. I always feel good when I'm using my scraps. I saw this idea at the Great American Scrapbook Convention in Arlington last month and it was made by Cheryl Darrow of Ten Seconds Studio. So I can't take credit for the design. The technique is also explained in one of her Taco Tuesday videos. If you're interested, here is the link: http://www.tensecondsstudio.com/videos/062210.html . What is my idea is to color and stamp the magnetic board inside the frame. I first colored the board with alcohol inks and then stamped with Stazon ink. Normally I don't work with very bright colors, but I love how this turned out.
Thanks for visiting my blog and I hope y'all have a safe and happy 4th of July!

That is so beautiful. I love that you are not afraid of color. Thanks for sharing the link. Happy 4th to you also.
Very neat job here.
Bonnie, this frame is fabulous! I do love Ten Seconds Studio! I visited their booth at GASC in Arlington, too! Love that you used scraps for this!
That is super cool! I love all the color and texture!
