More Winter

This photo of my garden table I took on the one day of snow we had here in Houston. I made the background paper with the Swirlydoos January Technical Add-on kit. For a how-to you can check out the tutorial on the Swirlydoos website

Winter Layouts

No white Christmas here in Houston, but it is cold! The Swirlydoos January kit arrived just before Christmas, jampacked with all kinds of gorgeous winter goodies! Here are my first two layouts made with this kit.

This LO is based on Beggahuna's sketch, also provided in the kit. Picture of me when I was still a student. Me and my boyfriend rented a small recreational cottage in the northern part of The Netherlands, close to where my sister is living now. Then this snow blizzard came and we were isolated from the rest of the world for a few days. Some big bulldozer shovels from the local forrest rangers had to rescue us.

I embossed the vertical striped with embossing tinsel and snowed the title with white ink and distress stickles.

DH and his brothers playing in the snow back in 1958. This LO is made with the gorgeous Bo Bunny papers of the Swirlydoos January main kit and the Glimmer chips of the Technique Add-on kit. They are just perfect together, so I didn't have to do much to make it look pretty! I misted the chips with Glimmer mist and then embossed some pieces with embossing tinsel (also included in the technique add-on kit).
Thanks for visiting!          Bonnie

Wendy's Workshop

Taking a little break from all the Christmas and winter LO's. I had some papers left from the Swirlydoos October kit which were perfect for this photo of my sister in action during Wendy Vecchi's mega workshop. All the flowers are made of grunge paper with Wendy's stamps (Studio 490). TFL

The Magic of Christmas

Another picture of little me and a Christmas tree. I think this one is even older than the previous one. I used one of Tim's 12 Tags of Christmas on this LO. The crimson paper, the large flower, the lace and the gorgeous chipboard poinsettias are from the Swirlydoos december kit. The rest is from my stash. TFL

Another LO with the beautiful Swirlydoos December kit. The Flowers, bird and alphas are from my own stash. The photo shows little me admiring the Christmas tree.  TFL

More Christmas Layouts

Nike and me a "few" years back, when Christmas was still magical! I used some papers from the Swirlydoos december kit plus some papers from my own stash. I lifted the idea of the multi layers from the very talented Teresa (Catz).

My 3rd LO with the beautiful Swirlydoos December kit. I used the sketch of the 3rd day of the 12 days of sketches challenge at TFL

Christmas Layouts

Two LO's made with the Swirlydoos December kit "Favorite Things". I used sketch #100 of Sketch Inspiration for the first one with a picture of DSS and his GF. For the second one I used Beggahuna's sketch provided with the kit. TFL
