Canvas Album

You know I love to try new things and materials. So last month I bought an album kit from Carol Wingert. I met her last year in Phoenix at Creative Escape, and she makes the most amazing mini albums. (there is a link to her blog on the right column of this page). This is an canvas album and most of the embellishments are from vintage fabrics, laces and ribbons. It all so gorgeous and I had a blast putting this album together and truly enjoyed working with fabrics and learning new techniques. I still need to do two more pages, but it requires a sewing machine to finish them. Hopefully DH gives me one for my B-day. I already dropped a hint or two (LOL).

I didn't fill the album with photos yet, because it is all so pretty, and I don't want to spoil it with my photos. Just love to touch it and feel all the different textures. TFL

Just beautiful! Carol came to NJ last year and taught a class. She is so nice and love how she collects such pretty lace and flowers for her kits! Hope you get your sewing machine. ;o)

Bonnie! Wait...let me get a tissue, I'm drooling...I can't tell you how much that I love your style. I have looked around a little but I'm definitely coming back when I have more time to peruse properly. Thank you for showing your special talent for the 'rest of us' to be inspired! Have a wonderful weekend!
